He might not have many hits to his credit in the recent past, but Bollywood star Shahid Kapur aspires to be a part of the 100-crore club someday, which seems to be one of the hottest topics in B-town at the moment.
"Everyone wants his films to make 100 crores at the Box Ofice. I wish my films too make 100 crores one day, but that's not the only reason for me to take up a project. I strongly believe in the script. Moreover, those actors who are making 100 crores at the box office are highly established and have been there for around 20 years. I hope lot of my films make it to the 100-crore mark," says Shahid Kapur, who started his career with Ishq Vishk in 2003.
The actor, whose latest film Teri Meri Kahaani opposite Priyanka Chopra has just hit the screens, says that he is glad to have got the opportunity to play three characters in the film.
"It was very entertaining to play characters in three eras. One of the characters in the film was very close to my character in real life," says the actor, who has Bejoy Nambiar's next, a Yash Raj production and Maneesh Sharma's film in the pipeline.
