Akshay Kumar is all set to do another remake of a South film. He is going to be working with Ghajini director A. R. Murugadoss in the official remake of the film Thuppakki. The original is presently being shot with Tamil superstar Vijay and Kajal Aggarwal.It is said that Vipul Shah will produce the film. This will be Akshay Kumar's second remake of a South film after this month's blockbuster release Rowdy Rathore.
A source was quoted saying, "This will be Murugadoss's first film after Aamir Khan's Ghajini. Murugadoss has been planning a film with Akshay for a long time but they were not able to zero down on any subject. They have now finalised on this film that was earlier scheduled to be made in Hindi. Due to Akki's packed schedule, the making got delayed. Now, the remake is scheduled to start in December. The lead actress is yet to be finalised."
